Welcome to Future Minds Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, courses, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are intended for use in India. They are a general template and do not constitute legal advice.
1) Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. Some programs may require additional eligibility criteria.
- Information you provide must be accurate and kept up‑to‑date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it.
2) Enrolment & Admissions
- Course availability, schedules, batch sizes, and prerequisites are subject to change.
- Admission may require application review, assessments, or document verification. We reserve the right to accept or decline applications at our discretion.
3) Fees, Payments & Refunds
- All fees must be paid as per the invoice or program page. Taxes may apply.
- Payments may be processed by third‑party gateways. We do not store full card/UPI details.
- Refunds: Unless stated otherwise on the specific course page or invoice, fees are generally non‑refundable after batch commencement. If a program is cancelled by us before commencement, you may be offered an alternative batch or a refund.
4) Learning Materials & License
- Course materials (content, videos, slides, code, templates) are owned by Future Minds Academy or its licensors.
- We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the materials only for your personal learning during and after the course. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, or create derivative works without permission.
5) Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the Services, disrupt classes, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
- No posting or sharing of unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Respect the privacy, safety, and IP of others, including peers and instructors.
6) Attendance, Assessments & Certification
- Attendance and participation may be required for course completion.
- Assignments, projects, and exams must be your own work. Plagiarism or cheating may result in disciplinary action.
- Certificates are issued upon meeting the completion criteria defined for each program.
7) Placements & Career Support
We may provide career guidance, resume reviews, mock interviews, and referrals. We do not guarantee employment, salaries, or interviews.
8) Third‑Party Services
The website or curriculum may reference third‑party tools or services. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of those tools; we are not responsible for their practices.
9) Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and content are the property of their respective owners. “Future Minds Academy” and associated marks are used by us. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
10) Communications
By contacting us or enrolling, you consent to receive transactional communications (email, SMS, WhatsApp, calls) regarding your course. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time.
11) Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error‑free operation.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Future Minds Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the Services. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the applicable program in the 3 months preceding the claim.
13) Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Future Minds Academy, its officers, staff, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third‑party rights.
14) Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for misconduct, non‑payment, policy violations, or unlawful activity. You may discontinue use at any time; applicable refund rules will apply as stated above.
15) Changes to Services or Terms
We may modify the curriculum, schedules, pricing, or features of the Services. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable law. Before litigation, the parties will attempt good‑faith resolution through written notice and a 30‑day informal negotiation period.
17) Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, acts of government, internet outages, strikes).
